Professor Eagleton, a graduate of Austin College. Texas, after a course of graduate study at Princeton University, went to Oxford University. England, as a Rhodes scholar (1914-17). On his return to the United States he was appointed instructor in modern European History at Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas. For the last two years he has been Professor of International Law at New York University. Professor Eagleton lias been for many years a close student and supporter of the movement toward international education.
