Associate Professor of Political Science, University of Michigan. Professor Hayden, after spending a year as exchange professor in the University of the Philippines, visited India in July , 1923. He attended the final session of the Indian Legislative Assembly at Simla, and enjoyed unusual opportunities of meeting eminent Englishmen and native leaders of many classes and many shades of political opinion and of gauging Indian sentiment regarding the Legislative Assembly’s actual accomplishment
