LEON HURWITZ is Associate Professor of Political Science at Cleveland State University. He received his doctorate from the Maxwell School, Syracuse University. Professor Hurwitz has published numerous articles in such journals as Comparative Political Studies, Comparative Politics, Journal of Common Market Studies, and Political Studies (Oxon.), and his book Zntroduction to Politics is in press. He is currently engaged in a study of recent Soviet Iewish emigres in Cleveland.
