DAVID LUCK is a graduate student in political science at Columbia University whose previous training was at the University of California, Berkeley and Yale. He is the author of "Soviet and Chinese Communist Political Development: The Lenin Succession, the Stalin Purge, and the Cultural Revolution," which agpeared in Survey, and a research note in Psychology in History Newsletter. At present he is preparing for his dissertation a comparative psyehobiographic-psyeholinguistic study of a nuraber of political leaders. He is also working on a psyohological st.udy of the Nazi holocaust and its academic interpreters, and a psyehobiographie/psyeho-" music as language" study of Raebmaninoff and Seriabin.
