WALTER HAHN is Professor of Education and Adjunct Professor of Languages, University of Utah. A native of Germany, he has taught comparative education in several American universities, and his publications, mostly in comparative education and foreign-language education, have appeared in Comparative Education Review, the Journal of Higher Education, the Journal of Secondary Education, Educational Record, and other American, French, and German journals. He has contributed to two books, Aktuelle Bildungskritik und Bildungsreform in den U.S.A. (1968) and Crucial Issues in the Teaching of Social Studies (1963). Professor Hahn has taught in West German universities on three recent occasions, and has done educational research in East Berlin and several other East German cities. The latter research was supported by a grant from the University of Utah Research Committee.
