DAVID M. OLSON is a Professor of Political Science at the University of North Carolina-Greensboro. His research interests include comparative parliaments, democratization processes of Eastern Europe, and representation in federal systems. Recent publications include Legislatures in the Policy Process: The Dilemmas of Economic Policy (with Michael Mezey) and Two into One: The Politics and Processes of National Legislative Camera! Change (with Lawrence Longley).
