ANDRUS PARK is a Professor at the Estonian Academy of Sciences and Head of its Humanities and Social Science Division. He has written about the concepts of explanation and narrative in history, the Estonian science policy, and the disintegration of the Soviet empire in comparative perspective. His English-language publications have appeared in Philosophy of Social Sciences, History and Theory, Government and Oppasition, Bulletin of Peace Proposals, and The Washington Quarterly.
