Ministries versus territories: Evidence from agricultural administration in Soviet Central Asia
GREGORY GLEASON, Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Miami. Trained at the University of California, Davis and the University of Washington, he is the author of several articles on Soviet nationality policies and regional politics in the republics of Soviet Central Asia. Author of the forthcoming book, Between Moscow and Tashkent, Gleason has interests focused on federal relations in the USSR and on linkages between Soviet domestic politics and Soviet policies in Afghanistan.
