VALERY GOLOVSKOY is Senior Research Associate in the Department of Germanic, Slavic, and East European Languages at Queens College of the City University of New York. A graduate in Theory and History of Film from the State Institute of Cinematography (USSR), Professor Golovskoy was an editor of Cinema Art and Soviet Screen. His publications include: Soviet Film: 1972–1982 (with Professor John Rimberg).
