Two men were arrested for planning a massacre of students from the University of Brasilia (UnB) in March 2012, and one of them would be involved in different crimes related to the internet in the following years. The evidence that led to the arrests included a map of the house where an event would be taking place for students of the social sciences department. That initial arrest proved to be the tip of an iceberg hidden in the depths of an internet crowded with Anglicisms that call for an explanation. Anglicisms occur when English terms are used in another language to designate new objects, concepts, and phenomena.
