HEND F. ALAWADHI is a PhD candidate in visual and cultural studies at the University of Rochester. Alawadhi is currently managing editor of InVisible Culture: An Electronic Journal for Visual Culture. She was the Susan B. Anthony teaching fellow in 2014, and the Flaherty Seminar Film and Media Studies Fellow in 2015.
