TINA TAKEMOTO is an artist and associate professor of visual studies at California College of the Arts in San Francisco. Her writing has appeared in Afterimage, Art Journal, Performance Research, Radical Teacher, Theatre Survey, Women and Performance, and the anthology Thinking Through the Skin (2001, edited by Sara Ahmed and Jackie Stacey). Her film Looking for Jiro (2011) received the Jury Award for Best Experimental Film at the Polari Film Festival.
