DOROTHEA SCHOENE is a Berlin-based art historian, writer, and curator. She is a recipient of Fulbright, DAAD, and Getty grants for her studies in contemporary Western and Middle Eastern art, provenance research, and museum architecture and history of the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
