Alan Cholodenko was Senior Lecturer in film theory and an imation theory in the Department of Art History and Theory at the University of Sydney and is now Honorary Associate there. His essay “The Illusion of the Beginning: A Theory of Drawing and An imation” appeared in the July August 2000 issue of Afterimage.
