Avon Neal is a writer, artist and folk art collector who lives in North Brookfield, MA. He collaborates extensively with photographer Ann Parker. Together they have published seven books including Los Ambulantes: The Itinerant Photographers of Guatemala (1982) and Hajj Paintings: Folk Art of the Great Pilgrimage (1995).
