I am always pleased to have this opportunity to acknowledge and thank the many individuals who comprise the extended team contributing to the success of The American Biology Teacher during the past year. It remains a privilege to be ABT Editor-in-Chief, now starting my eleventh year of service!
Let me begin by reporting that we continue to receive a steady stream of article submissions allowing us to produce 9 annual issues packed with insights and ideas to assist biology teachers at all levels who, in turn, provide interesting and engaging instruction to students. Each of those articles is reviewed by 2–3 peer reviewers. This past year we had about 95 manuscripts submitted (a bit down from the previous year) and conducted about 175 reviews that offered feedback to help authors transform good ideas into great ones—as I say so often.
