NABT members and potential members are invited to submit manuscripts to The American Biology Teacher that align with the future focus issues listed below. Included here are descriptions of the focus topics so that potential authors can share their specialized expertise with the biology education community. Inquiry activities for student learning of concepts in these focus issues are especially invited. Content-only manuscripts must have implications or applications for student learning. Manuscripts can be for the following article types: Feature Article, Research on Learning, Inquiry & Investigation, How-To-Do-It, or Quick Fix. If there are insufficient manuscripts to fill a given focus issue, that issue will be suspended and those manuscripts will appear in nonfocus issues. All manuscripts will be triple peer-reviewed by experts in the respective fields. All ABT authors must be current members of NABT.
